By Adding World-Class Software Products to its Offerings Projility Furthers Lead as Industry’s Top Microsoft Project and SharePoint Solutions Firm

Microsoft Project Portfolio Management Services Leader, Projility announced today that it has acquired SharkPro Software, the leading provider of complementary tools for Microsoft Project Server. Projility is a global leader in providing services related to Microsoft Project and has established broad and strong practices in public sector and commercial markets. The acquisition of the software product line had been a strategic goal for Projility for the past few years. Projility and SharkPro are both well-known and highly successful partners in the Microsoft Project market. Both companies participate on Microsoft’s Partner Advisory Council for Project Server and have received Microsoft partner of the year recognition numerous times.

“This acquisition represents a big boost for Microsoft Project and SharePoint customers world-wide,” said Jose Marroig, President and CEO of Projility. “For the first time, they can receive professional services that support their investment in those technologies and best of breed complementary products that extend their investment in Microsoft products such as Project and SharePoint from one strong company.”

Marroig said that Greg Bailey, CEO of SharkPro, will join Projility and head up the company’s new software development business line. He will also bring his software development resources to Projility as well.

We’re excited to now offer the SharkPro software products his team developed as part of our comprehensive offering.”

With the acquisition of SharkPro and the related plans to bring additional software technologies to market, Projility has set itself apart from other Microsoft project management providers in the market. “Projility is now a complete provider of Project-related products and services to support the growth of Microsoft Project and SharePoint licenses however the customer wants them – in the cloud or on premises,” said Marroig. “Microsoft PPM, which we’ve built our company around supporting, is the most complete, yet least expensive project management solution on the market. SharkPro has been well received in markets Projility would like to grow into, such as healthcare, Marroig said.

  • SharkPro SharePoint Insite for Project is an app that enables Project 2013 users to directly access SharePoint project information from within Microsoft Project 2013.
  • SharkPro Project View saves time by consolidating project information and provides a comprehensive view of the tasks, milestones, issues, risks and documents for your project on a single, printable page.
